Some Way
With morning crisper,
Rested winds whisper
Noted assumptions
About where they came.
A mind can renew
What hands wish they knew;
And strong backs know well
What souls sometimes name.
Wanderings of wings,
And much finer things,
The heart can ponder,
And great books retain.
On which days and nights,
To follow such plights,
For even good blood
Will set a deep stain.
